Artist's Comments

I'm showing of a bit here but I have been telling people what our back yard looks like. This is looking out of my studio door and the tree fern is one of about 35 or so and is one of the small ones, there are some up to about 30ft. high
The animal life is bordering on a problem but it is a good problem.

Yes, probably invasive, but a paradise. :)

Have you had bad weather problems like they had in Brisbane?
I correspond with ~zweeZwyy who described terrible weather up there around Christmas and after.

I have a second cousin near Adelaide.
Gosh, but you are all a long way away!

I've got my bags packed and I'm moving into your back yard with the animals. If you just chuck a few peanuts and raisins out the door the animals and I promise to stay out of your kitchen. ;)

Awesome!!! Beautiful backyard. And you're in Australia, aren't you? You lucky devil!

I haven't lived your life nor walked in your skin, so I cannot know the journey that has brought you to this day, therefore I will pass no judgment on you for other than what you show me. :boogie:

They don't, I have found Bush turkeys on our kitchen table and they are huge, we have geckos living in the light fittings and kookaburras flying around the lounge room, we even had a micro bat trying to live in our stair well but there is a cave up the back for you. lol

Brisbane is a 1000km to the north so we don't get there weather very much. It has been good here this year. Adelaide is a long way to the south east.

It's funny how much you take it for granted after a while.
