OK This is why I haven't been around much lately to answer your comments and thank you for all your faves. Our city is on the edge of dying so a group was set up to try and get the place moving again. One of the things was to cover over some old derelict shops with art work to make it look like there was activity in them. Including the time submitting drawings and meeting requirements to get the job it has been about 10 weeks in the making. The figures in the work are on boards we cut out and glued on to the background boards we erected to cover over the old shops and are of real people we know that posed for the job. So far all the feedback is really great and we now have just been given the OK to do two more so I guess we will be busy again.
We used to paint on a fence, 3-4 times a year, in our towwn. Now the fence has been taken down, and that source of sociality is done. It's kind of a nice feeling to be the "medium" of such socially appreciated pictures. You know for sure they aren't doomed to the closet!
Yeah I don't know how long these will last, the hope is of coarse that retailers will see the potential and move in so they will come down. We will see, in the mean time we are getting a bit of publicity.
