A tribute to another artist.

This is a little show of thanks to a artist I have met here on DA.
She says I inspired here to paint again, and I feel quite honoured.
Her early work was more figurative, studies which are full of feeling and portray the subject in a mood that is obviously them, capturing the sitters persona.
A skill needed by an artist who is going to paint stories into their work.
In her new work she in more in touch with the earth and obviously spiritual. Her paintings are more about stories and less about the sitter.
I think it shows how important our life experiences are to our paintings, we draw on them and paint the stories of our life.
It will be interesting to watch and see how her paintings mature.
Don't forget the Labyrinth Contest over at

closes soon.
